Sat on Runway for 4 hrs due to mechanical fault , then canceled for 24 hrs at 3 am
no jetsatr staff at Phuket airport. Herded us all into arrival Hall ,told us theyd put us in a "nearby resort" for the night and bus us back next night .only one Imigration officer still working so to help him speed up the process and not need to stamp Our passports as a re entry > the Crew told us to leave our passports with the Non Jetstar ground staff and collect em the next night before we board the aircraft for the flight home !!. This is a week after half of Bangkok was Burned down by the Red shirts. and a year or so after the airport blockade at the Phuket Airport . what if this happened again overnight 300 hundred jetstar passengers in thailand without Passports . and these guys are flying the goddamn plane .

Any way then we had to find the busses and load our baggage into open back trucks for the trip to the mystery hotel ourselves. Little old ladies kids the lot no help from anyone. The crew had dissapeared to their "Other Hotel" and left us with a really agro Thai ground staffer who did little more than point a four busses and say " jetstar hotel bus" .to fend for ourselves with absolutely no dorection after promising wed all be well looked after.
Well!! we wound up in a hotel in phuket town an hours drive away called the Metropole. ( what a hole ) had to be a by the hour whore house hotel . waste paper bins with used condoms. bed bugs, windows screwed shut , broken aircon. broken toilets and just about everything else including brown tap water. The worst hotel I've ever seen . we left immediately
and took a cab back to the hotel wed stayed in for the previouse two weeks. I'd rather pay for a night in a hotel than stay in a shithole like that for nothing.
planed break down and delays happen thats all part of travelling. and I accept that .
But these Jetstar people tell you outright lies just to get rid of you.
Iv'e written and e-maild complaints about this to The CEO and every one down from him about the disgusting treatment every one had on this flight. They even tried to feed us the food theyd had in the oven for 24 hrs since the flight was canceled the day before.
Ran out of bottled water befor we even took off. They sent every one a voucher for $100. dont fly Jetstar Chep YES NASTY YES!!!
