I'm currently on hold...
After one hellish day of cancelled flights, another airline had the 'bright' idea of rebooking four of our group of 8 on Jetstar.
We were first told a member of the flight crew was late and would be coming soon. So we waited, and then were informed that there was too much fuel in the plane and they couldn't take it out because it would take like three hours. So we would go then our luggage would be there at 9am the next day. I was lucky because I had essential medication in my handbag, but a girl in our group was without medication for almost three days.
My bags took two days to arrive, and my friend's (all staying at the same place) took three. We did not want to claim for essential supplies because we didn't believe Jetstar would pay us for a long time (This is turning out to be true) so we just used our travel insurance.
They told us we would all have $100 vouchers, and I'm just trying to claim mine. But apparently my voucher can't go to MY email, it has to go to a random email address that neither I or my friends know about. Yesterday she could change my email address, but now apparently it can't be done. So she told me to file another complaint and that's all she could tell me. And to top it all off, "I hope you have a good night".
I felt like yelling "Yes, because it's now 11.38pm where I live, my blood pressure has tripled and I've been on the phone for almost an hour".
Just a waste of time..
