Uluru flight cancelled for hundred of travellers on New Years

Full details are here (https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-01-01/jetstar-cancels-flights-from-ulur...) but in a nutshell, Jetstar was unable to check people into the flight because the internet was down. Somehow Qantas and Virgin were able to check their customers in though and get their planes off the ground. For 300+ people, after sitting on the airport floor in the check in line for six hours, the solution that Jetstar arrived at was to bus us all to Alice Springs. We arrived at around 11 pm (12 hours after we were supposed to take off) and, by the time we got our hotel rooms, it was basically at the New Years Eve countdown. They gave us a granola bar, apple, three crackers, and a small piece of cheese for supper. It was appalling. The following morning Qantas flew us to Sydney and Melbourne. We arrived 25 hours after our expected landing time. All because they don't have a process if the internet is down. The incompetence of not having a back up system is galling. The other airlines did.
