This is an announcement for travelers using Narita International Airport between October 19 and October 26, 2019.

As always, thank you for flying with Jetstar Japan.

Between October 19 and October 26, important persons including heads of state and delegations from many countries are scheduled to fly in and out of Japan to observe the enthronement ceremony of the new emperor of Japan. Especially on 22 and 23 October, large-scale transportation regulations will be implemented mainly on metropolitan highways and public roads in Tokyo.

We therefore ask travelers with flights departing from Narita International Airport during this period to use railways whenever possible, and to arrive at the airport with time to allow for possible transportation delays. We appreciate your cooperation.

From September 13, security has been increased at all airports in Japan. To alleviate congestion at airport security checkpoints, passengers should make sure to take off all coats and jackets before reaching the checkpoint, place them in the tray, and proceed through the checkpoint in a timely manner.
