Bali - Volcanic Ash Cloud Disruptions
Last Updated: 03/11/2015 09:01 PM
Update on Bali flights scheduled for Wednesday 4 November 2015 (Published 9:00pm AEDT, 3-11-2015)
As a result of the volcanic ash cloud from Mt Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia, Jetstar’s team of experts have decided it is currently not safe to operate flights to or from Denpasar Airport in Bali.
While we regret the frustration these cancellations will cause, the safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority.
We’ll continue to monitor the movement of the ash cloud with the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) and will resume flying as soon as it is safe to do so.
Once we have resumed flights, we will look to schedule additional services to enable customers to travel to or from Bali.
Latest Update
Jetstar will delay its morning flights from Australia to Bali on Wednesday 4 November 2015.
This delay will enable our team to review the latest information from the VAAC in the morning and assess whether it is safe to operate or if further cancellations are required.
Customers booked on these services should proceed to the airport and check in as normal.
Please be aware that the flights may be cancelled if conditions do not improve.
