Update on Bali flights scheduled for Tuesday, 9 November 2015

(Published 8.00pm AEDT, 09-11-2015)

Limited Tuesday daytime flights from Bali

This evening our senior pilots and expert operations team have assessed the latest forecasts from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre.

The forecasts show that ash cloud conditions at Denpasar Airport may improve tomorrow and enable us to operate some limited daytime services. These will include additional (recovery) flights when possible.

Passengers on these flights will be notified directly with any changes. As part of these arrangements we have had to change the timing of, or cancel, a number of scheduled flights tomorrow.

See the list below of flight time changes and cancellations.

We will post our next update on Tuesday morning.

Flying conditions are subject to change based on the forecast position of the ash cloud, assessment of safety to fly, and local flight approvals. We will provide updates whenever conditions change.

As a Qantas Group airline, Jetstar operates according to a set of strict safety standards. We take a conservative approach, putting safety before schedule, and only operate services when our senior pilots and meteorologists deem it safe to do so.

We would like to thank all our customers for their patience as we work through our recovery process to get everyone to their destination as soon as we can.
