One fee-free date change – Australian domestic travel
If you book flights through Jetstar.com between 21 May and 30 June 2020, we’ll waive the change fee if you decide to change the date of your travel. When you’re ready to rebook, you’ll need to cover any Fare Difference in your new booking. This offer applies for travel between 12 June and 31 October 2020 on any Jetstar Airways (JQ) domestic flights within Australia.
In the instance that your flight is cancelled by us, we’ll rebook you on the next available flight to your booked destination, at no additional cost to you. Alternatively, you can choose other options.

Voucher extension for international travel
We’ve also introduced further flexibility for Jetstar Airways (JQ) customers with international bookings. If you’re booked to fly between 1 August and 31 October and you want to change your plans, you can cancel your booking and retain the full value as a credit voucher. This excludes flights between Australia and New Zealand, and between Auckland and Rarotonga.
The app helps state and territory officials to quickly contact people who may have been exposed to the virus. It’s easy, it’s secure and ultimately, it will mean less restrictions, which will let us all travel again sooner.
The COVIDSafe app also gives you extra reassurance if you are travelling. For more information and to download the app head here.

Greater flexibility when using credit vouchers
Greater flexibility when using credit vouchers
Following customer feedback, we’ve recently improved our travel vouchers. From mid-June, all new and existing vouchers issued as a result of the COVID-19 impact on travel can be used across multiple future bookings. That means customers can use the value of their voucher to book more than one trip.
We also recently extended our voucher expiry dates, giving customers 12 months to redeem a voucher and book any available flight. Our flights are generally made available around 12 months in advance, so customers will have about two years to travel.
As per the existing arrangements, Jetstar customers will need to pay any fare difference if the new bookings cost more than the value of their travel voucher.
If you booked through a travel agent or third party websites (e.g. Flight Centre) you will need to contact them directly.
