No disruptions to travel over the Christmas-New Years' period

The Australian Federation of Airline Pilots has advised it will not take industrial action between 21 December and 3 January.

The Transport Workers Union has also advised it will not take action between December 20 and the New Year.
We expect to be operating as usual over this period.

Changes to our January schedule

Due to potential ongoing union action we have reduced our flights on domestic routes with a high number of daily services -- where we have lots of alternative flights to reaccommodate customers on.

Passengers on these flights will have already received an email to let them know. If you’re on an affected flight we will swap you to an alternative flight same-day - which you can move to the flight before or after if you prefer at no cost. If your flight has been resheduled by more than 3 hours and you no longer wish to travel with us you can also request a refund for any unused portion of the ticket.

The Australian Federation of Airline Pilots and the Transport Workers Union may choose to take industrial action in January which may disrupt our operations. If this occurs, we’ll do everything we can to minimise disruption to flights.

Stay in touch with the latest

If your flight is affected in the future, we will contact you directly via SMS and email as soon as we know so please make sure your contact details are up to date. The best way to do this is via Manage My Booking

Flights operated by Jetstar Japan, Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Pacific are not affected by this industrial action.
