Information on flights affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake and on ticket changes and refunds

As employees of Jetstar Japan, our heartfelt condolences go out to those affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake.
Kumamoto Airport terminal building is closed due to the earthquake and all Jetstar flights in/out of Kumamoto airport are cancelled on April 18 as below.

Jetstar Japan flights to/from destinations in the Kyushu region other than Kumamoto will be operated as scheduled (as of 12:00, April 18). However, there is a possibility that aftershocks may have an impact on our operations. For the latest operational situation, please check our website here.
There has been an impact on transportation to airports. Please check the status of roads and other transportation beforehand, and leave enough time to get to the airport.
In light of the situation and to help affected customers, customers flying in/out of the following airports, please see the relevant section below.
<Kumamoto / Fukuoka / Oita / Kagoshima Airport>
Customers flying in/out of Kumamoto / Fukuoka / Oita / Kagoshima on flights departing up to April 28:
- Can cancel flights with no handling charge
- If customers change the date of these flights to May 6 or earlier, Jetstar will not charge flight change handling fees or flight fare difference.
<Matsuyama Airport>
Customers flying in/out of Matsuyama on flights departing up to April 28:
- If customers change the date of flights in / out of Matsuyama airport to May 6 or earlier, Jetstar will not charge flight change handling fees or flight fare difference.
- Customers postponing these flights until after May 7, can change without handling fees. However, differences in flight fare will be charged.
