Information on Traffic Restriction and Possible Delays due to the G20 Osaka Summit 2019 (27-30 June)

Last Updated: 05/06/2019 07:24 AM

The
G20 Osaka Summit will be held at the International Exhibition Center, Osaka (INTEX
Osaka) on 28 and 29 June 2019.

From
27 to 30 June 2019, large-scale traffic restrictions are scheduled for roads
around Kansai International Airport and the Osaka area. Due to expected heavy road
traffic, travel by train is strongly recommended.

In
addition, airport security will be increased at Kansai International Airport. Police
inspections will be conducted at passenger terminal entrances, and passengers will
be requested to present their airline tickets. Please have your Jetstar itinerary
on hand. Also, please arrive early to the airport as check-in and boarding
procedures may take longer due to increased airport security.

Please
note that regular flights arriving and departing Kansai International Airport
may be delayed due to the operation of private government aircraft during this
period.
