Kansai Airport Terminal One Closure
Due to a severe Typhoon (Jebi) in western Japan, Kansai International Airport (Osaka) Terminal 1 remains closed
after it sustained significant damage to facilities and operational
equipment. In light of this, all Jetstar
flights have been cancelled until Tuesday 11 September (inclusive). A full list of cancelled flights is below.
If your flight
has been cancelled, you will be contacted directly via sms and email with
alternative options.
If you are due
to travel to Osaka in the coming days and wish to change your travel plans,
there are a number of options available to assist. Please log into Manage
Booking with your booking reference number to look at flight options.
Please note,
our call centres are currently experiencing significant traffic however this
Travel Alert will be updated regularly with all the latest information.
Whilst some
services have resumed from Terminal 2, Terminal 1 remains closed and we are closely
monitoring the situation and working with the airport to determine when the
terminal will be reopened. Our aim is to resume our scheduled flights as soon
as it is safe for us to do so however, we expect it may take some time to
resume a full schedule.
