Update on Bali flights

UPDATE 4:30PM AEST,
Saturday 30 June
Jetstar has commenced relief flights out of Bali to Australia
today to bring home more than 1000 passengers who have been affected by flight
cancellations caused by recent volcanic eruptions at Mount Agung.
These relief flights are in addition to scheduled services which
have resumed normal operations to and from Bali.
Relief flights include:

Saturday 30 June: JQ7002 Bali – Melbourne

Sunday 1 July: JQ7004 Bali – Perth
-
Sunday 1 July: JQ7006 Bali – Perth

Monday 2 July: JQ7002 Bali – Melbourne
Passengers will then be connected to their home port on domestic
flights as required.
If you are currently in Bali and have had your flight cancelled,
we will contact you directly via SMS and email with your relief flight
details. If you have not yet received any email or SMS from us, please
ensure your contact details are up to date via Manage Booking on Jetstar.com or
contact us via the Live Chat link at the top of the Travel Alert page.
Passengers have been booked on relief flights in order of who has
been disrupted longest.
Volcanic activity is unpredictable, so please be aware that
conditions can change rapidly. We will update you immediately if there is any
change to our schedule.
Before heading to the airport please check the status of your
flight from the Flight status page on Jetstar.com or via our smartphone app.
If you are in Australia and your flight to Bali has been
cancelled:
• We encourage customers who have had their flight cancelled to
Bali to consider alternative options available, including the option to change
travel dates, or to fly to another international destination, such as Vietnam,
Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Fiji subject to availability.
• You can also opt to get a credit voucher for the full amount of
your booking.
• You can view available flights to Bali via Manage Booking on Jetstar.com or Live Chat. Please be aware that due to school holidays, availability is limited.
Update your contact details
Customers travelling to or from Bali, including those booked via
travel agents or travel websites, should ensure that we have their mobile phone
number and email address. This will allow us to contact you. Your contact
details can be updated through Manage booking on Jetstar.com.
This Travel Alert will be updated if there are any changes to
conditions that affect flights.

Flying conditions around
Denpasar Airport have improved and all scheduled flights over the weekend
are planned to operate, subject to any change in conditions.
If you are in Bali and your
flight has been previously cancelled, we are operating some relief flights to
Australia and will contact you directly via SMS and email once you have been
booked on a flight. Customers will be booked on relief flights in order of
who has been disrupted longest. Please bear in mind there is a backlog of
customers waiting to fly so it may take several days before you are booked on a
flight.
