Volcanic Alert - For Jetstar passengers travelling out of Bali

Last Updated: 03/11/2015 09:50 PM

Due to the volcanic ash cloud from Mount Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia, conditions in the vicinity of Denpasar Airport, Bali are unsafe for flying.

As a result, Jetstar has cancelled services on Tuesday 3 November (AEST) to and from Bali following assessment of the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC).We will resume flying as soon as it is safe to do so and we will update customers if poor flying conditions lead to further cancellations.

At this stage, we’re advising customers NOT to travel to the airport for flights to and from Bali and to closely monitor their flight status on Jetstar.com (or via the Jetstar app on their smartphones).

We regret the disruption these cancellations will cause our customers but the safety of passengers and crew is our first priority.
