21 July - Update on flights as of 11am
The latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) shows that volcanic ash from Mount Ruang remains in the vicinity of Surabaya Airport and two Jetstar Asia flights, 3K247 and 3K248 today between Singapore and Surabaya has been cancelled.
We have apologised to the passengers for the cancellations and the inconvenience on their travel plans.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will only resume flights when our specialist operationa teams and management pilots consider it safe to do so.
