Volcanic Ash Update for 5 Nov Services between Singapore, Bali
Last Updated: 04/11/2015 11:09 PM
Update on Bali flights scheduled for Thursday, 5 November 2015
(Published 7.30pm Local, 04-11-2013)
Denpasar Airport remains closed as the Mount Rinjani ash cloud continues to make flying conditions around Bali unsafe.
Following the latest update from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC), our team of experts has decided to cancel flights to and from Bali tomorrow (Thursday) scheduled to depart before 5pm (local time).
While we regret the frustration these cancellations will cause, the safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority.
We’ll continue to monitor the movement of the ash cloud from Mt Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia with the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) and will resume flying as soon as it is safe to do so.
Once we have resumed flights, we will look to schedule additional services to enable customers to travel to or from Bali.
The latest flight details can be found on the flight status page on Jetstar.com.
