3 weeks of calling and emails and no response

I have been trying to book a flights for my family from the Gold Coast to Melbourne for 3 weeks now and errors in the calculation of fares are appearing on their site causing to over pay. I am cancelling the booking and calling them to get clarification and no answers.

I have contacted their customer care line 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks, and every time I call the automated message says something like "the wait time is approximately 5-10 minutes"; and 15 minutes passes when I get disconnected.

I sent them an email through their website and still no answer.

And the longer I wait to make the booking the more expensive the fares are getting.

Is this an intentional ploy to stall people making bookings and the prices keep going up?

Its annoying, but since they are a 24 hours call centre, the wait times are likely to be much shorter early in the morning, or late (and I mean late) at night.

Also if you don't want to call. You can usually resolve the issues yourself. Make sure you are including the Credit Card fees, Seat assignments, lounge access etc when you are trying to reconcile the fare. If it simply doesn't add up. Vote with your feet.
