From 4 hours to 14 +hours travel time

So my flight was supposed to go from Perth to Jakarta on thursday night/ friday early morning. It's supposed to be a 4ish hour flight. I got to the airport and found out that my flight was cancelled due to 'weather conditions' in Jakarta. The plane didnt leave jakarta. When I asked my friends who were in Jakarta they said the weather was fine. Light rain during the day. Jetstar decided not to notify me. So when I got there they gave me the option to change my flight to saturday morning. But instead of going from Perth to Jakarta it goes from Perth to Bali (Denpasar) to Singapore THEN to Jakarta. Yeah. I had to travel to 3 cities. They said it might be 12 hours travel. I had no other choice really to choose that one. So I did. When Saturday came I was asking the jetstar people whether they would be providing me with food. This is how the conversation went I'll try keep it as close to the real thing as possible.
"hey I was wondering if youre going to provide lunch for me or something"
"did you book it?"
"no. But cause of you guys I have to travel 12 hours instead of the intended 4"
"yeah but of you didnt book it you won't get any."
"yeah but I'm going to be spending hours at Singapore. And I don't have Singaporean money with me."
"if you're travelling to Singapore you should have Singapore money."
"yeah but I wasn't meant to be travelling there. Its because of jetstar I am going there."
"yeah but you're going there."
"... What the f***?"
I wasn't exactly expecting them to say yes. But I also wasn't expecting her to be such a bitch.
Anyway, in Perth our flight was delayed a half hour or so because of a problem with the breaks. We stopped at Bali for transit. Then at Singapore. We were supposed to wait 2-3 hours. When we got there I found out our flight was delayed for 2 hours. I was so pissed by then. I went to the jetstar counter and asked what they would do for me. Like whether they would provide me with a phone card or something so I could call Indonesia to let them know my flight was delayed. They said no. When I explained to them how much shit they have put me through the last few days the lady said there was nothing she could do. We ended up boarding later than the delayed scheduled time too. All in all It was around 14-15 hours of travel instead of the original 4 hours. If you start counting from when I left home to when I reached the appartment in Jakarta it was around 19 hours give or take. Yay me.
I was talking to a girl on my flight and she was telling me how jetstar cancelled her flight to newzealand once because there weren't enough people flying. She got a refund. Then they sent her a $100 voucher which didn't work. She called them up saying it didn't work. They sent her another one and that one didn't work either. In the end she gave up. Considered it as a con. Probably was.
