Avoid Jetstar at ALL costs

The service (for lack of a better word) of this airline is appaulling!!! We flew from Auckland to Sydney and the flight was delayed by 2 hours meaning we had dramas with our connecting flight. No communication, apology or compensation offered. Our return flight from Bali to Sydney was then delayed by 6 hours meaning we had to sit in the airport overnight. Again no communication and a measly $8 to buy an over priced drink. Upon arriving in Sydney we are advised we had now missed our connecting flight to Auckland so must now wait around in Sydney airport for another 6 hours and then they will fly us to Wellington where we must stay overnight before they will fly us to Auckland. $10 food voucher provided for this further delay. When asked if I could use their phone to call the people who had driven 3.5 hours to collect us from the AKD airport having not been provided notification of ongoing delays I was advised to purchase an international phone card as this was not their responsibility. Where is the service we paid for Jetstar!!! A simple 9 hour journey has jus taken 48 hours!!! Worst airline service ever experienced in 30 years of international travel. Unforeseen circumstances are understandable but extensively delayed flights for 4 out of 4 flights is simply poor substandard services. Would never ever under any circumstances travel with this airline again.

We were scheduled to fly from Auckland to Melbourne on Sunday 17 January at 7.35 am. We finally left at 6.20 am the following day. Just In time to rush to the tennis for our prepaid seats. First and last time we have flown Jetstar internationally. I don't care how cheap they are, and I don't really think they are, we will never go with them again and I would most certainly never recommend them.
