I have a flight 8months back from Spore-Auckland-Christchurch for 12~23/05/2011, at SGD800/person. Now the price has become SGD600/person for the same flight, same period. Is there anyway to lodge a complaint on it??

Kong. I wouldn't bother
Kong. I wouldn't bother wasting your time making a complaint. Do you make a complaint when you buy a tshirt from the store and then it goes on sale when the store wants to get rid of them?
Airline pricing is generally a similar concept. If the airline has seats it needs to get rid of close to the departure date, they will reduce the price to clear them. If you purchased earlier it really is too bad, no one forced you to agree to the earlier price.
Booking flights that far
Booking flights that far ahead of time is not always a good idea unless its on one of the sales. As Kaz said, often seats can get cheaper if they need to fill the aircraft closer to the departure date. When the plane starts getting full, the prices will rise again. You have no chance of getting any money back. You agreed to pay it and agreed it is non refundable.

I booked a flight from Syd to
I booked a flight from Syd to Hob this-morning and the flights went on sale 6hrs later.
I called as soon as I could, the same day, and they said they wouldn't even credit the difference.
Ridicules!
And as for you guys taking about t-shirts and jeans, don't be stupid!
We are talking about flights.
Anyway, if an item goes on sale the day after you buy it, in Australia you would be hard pressed to find a store that wouldn't refund you the difference, its called customer service. Everyone knows that.
