Calling DOCEP and the consumer ombudsman

Went to airport -> stood in line at check in for 1 hour 15 mins -> was told I missed the flight because they didn't check me in in time -> now told I can't get a refund because of their policy even though it was their fault that I didn't check in.

lodged a complaint, they've got 3 working days and then I'm going to the consumer protection ombudsman.

Bunch of chumps.

Did they make any

Did they make any anouncements to tell you when check-in for your flight closed? If so, did you make the staff aware that you needed to be checked in urgently because your plane was leaving in x amount of time?

If so, then that is utter bullshit and I'm sorry they didn't have the decency to see you made it in time when it's their responsibility to do so.

But if not? Then it's out of their hands I'm afraid. I know the lineups can get pretty huge and not everyone would be there for the same flight.

All those cheap carriers are
