I booked some flights online for my family and got charged a $14 credit card processing fee but here's the catch, you don't know how much the processing fee is until you confirm & pay for the flights. I rang F*&$STAR (sorry that's there new name) and the woman on the phone told me that they charge per person per carriage. So it cost $3.50 each for my husband & myself plus $3.50each way up & back. What a load of shit, it's highway robbery.

On a booked flight from Newcastle to Brisbane ad have had already informed Jetstar that I am disabled and require help to board the plane, I arrived at the airport 1.5 hours early, after check-in and explaining again that I needed assistance boarding the plane, the check-in lady told me all was well and that it had been noted about my disability and and when boarding was called for the flight that I should wait until all passengers had boarded before an assistant would come and assist me. Boarding was called and I waited as instructed. As the last passenger boarded and the gates shutting, I told the assistant that I was meant to be on that flight. After checking he said yes You are but we have no one to help you now. They made an attempt to get an attendant to me without success. in the end one of the ground crew came and got me but gave me such a nasty grilling on the tarmac that I was in tears. He also made it clear that another plane had just landed and I had now thrown the days schedule out for all planes. One of the air hostesses came down to off the plane to help me board. I will never, ever fly Jetstar again and have not recommended this airline to anyone that wants my opinion of a cheap airline. Disgusting service.
