Delays and no food; even when you have to pay for it.!!!

Travelled from Melbourne to Christchurch on the 14th October 2010. We sat at the gatelounge for 1 hour while passengers delayed because there were too few check-in staff, were loaded. Then after take-off we told to choose our food from the list in the seat pocket. When the cart came down to us we were told that no food had been loaded. Not only are they stupid but they do not even want to make a profit from food sales.!!. Who is behind this outfit other qantas????.

So your flight was delayed by an hour, and there was no food loaded for the flight... big deal!

I think the complainant's

I think the complainant's point is that the staff announced a food service, to find that indeed there was no food to be served. A small point - but it does make the airline seem stupid. As long as they don't make the same mistake loading fuel.

It's funny that the type of

It's funny that the type of person to complain about being delayed for an hour (a short amount of time for a jetstar flight), chose to fly jetstar in the first place. Yes they shouldve still served food, but 1 hour is a short time to wait for an international flight delay.
