So, you book your flight in good faith and you get a call out of the blue saying that Jetstar need to move your 8pm flight to 7 the same day, and you say 'sure, it's just one hour back and I can make it to the airport straight from work'. That seems reasonable. You get no email update of that, and then when you're gearing up to travel a week before your trip you notice that not only has Jetstar moved your flight to 7 IN THE MORNING (this would mean my husband has to lose an entire day of pay, we have a newborn and he is our only source of income) and then ALSO they changed the your 10pm flight from Perth to Sydney to 10am.....which means you miss your niece's wedding and that's the entire reason my husband is travelling to Perth. He was never informed of this. It's disgusting, shifty theft. That's exactly how I look at it. Oh, and the kicker, when we pointed this out to Jetstar and that they were at fault so they had to refund the cost of the ticket they said they would refer this to the refund department and they 'may' approve it. But that takes 15 working days. And you can't contact them directly. So we really don't know if we can afford to go to Perth at all and rebook with another airline. And the only reason they were transparent about the fact that the refund needed to go through an approval process was because my husband demanded an email confirming that a refund would be processed. Honestly don't know why they don't just hack into people's credit card accounts and steal from them directly. So unbelievably angry. Never again. Virgin all the way.
