My husband and I were charged $120.00 because we he had a laptop, and my handbag was weighed with the carry ons , laptop and my husbands 'man bag " . I have never had this happen before and was so disappointed when I spent 45 minutes online complaining with no result in the end . We had exactly the same luggage as we took on our flight to the Sunshine coast from Sydney with VIRGIN , who also give you complimentary Tea , Coffee , Water Juice and a snack . But Jetstar , bloody crooks , you get nothing unless you pay for it , not even offered a water !!! SO AFETR PAYING FOR FLIGHTS AND AN EXTRA $120.00 , YOU GET STUFF ALL . Plus the cabin crew were just miserable , don't seem to be bothered with anybody at all . They did give the Kids travelling with their parents in front of us a chocolate just as we landed , but come on , not even a glass of water for all that money . NEVER travelling with them again . don't bother folks . use another airline...……….

I agree with Julie's comments and the staff are not trained with customer centric attitudes. Try chatting online with the Chat Live feature and its like talking to a computer. I got Amy and her responses are standard and when asked to escalate my complaint higher, she responded that she had the authority not to escalate my complaints higher.
Anyone have any idea how I can jump over the barricade put up by Amy? Absolutely disgusted with their service and I wasn't even rude...
