I'm trying to add more baggage to my existing reservation via the Manage Your Booking page.
The site says that to add an extra 20 kg to my reservation will be $23 per person for 2 people. It clearly states: Amount owing: $46.
When I click PAY and go to the page to enter my credit card details it says the amount owing is $100.
A few days ago I did the same thing and it came up with amount owing: $180, for the same reservation, same baggage amount.
This is dishonest and fraudulent activity. I rang the call center who advised me there was nothing they could do and it was an IT glitch that they were well aware of. They couldn't confirm how much the correct baggage charge is.

They will charge you directly and give the online fare.
The website was reported to Jetstar on the 10th August 2011 by Qantas frequent flyer staff.
That the site does not work properly.
With no phone numbers and email addresses to contact directly they obviously don't want
feedback.
If you get a person who speaks English as a second language
don't bother discussing it with them.
The 1300 360 933 is unlisted and no given out to anyone
Including Qantas, I gave it to Qantas because they don't like
dealing with Jetstar according to the help desk.

I booked a flight from Auckland to gold coast on 5th september. The person who took my booking. Told me that I was to go to domestic airport to catch my plane. I knew this was wrong and asked if she was absolutely sure about this. "oh yes" she answered. I looked into this further and found she was putting me wrong. And just to add to this I got charged for 25kgs and only had 16kgs. Really jetstar. That really is a bit too much. That is a monster booking!

Jetstar I think your level of
Jetstar I think your level of service is actually getting worse, think I will never be travelling on your airline again. The agents booking system did not provide the option to add baggage, Jetstar's web site does not provide the option of editing the booking and the agent does not have access either. Jetstar's web site states that baggage can be purchased $42/20kg (already ridiculously high). So after being forced to call Jetstar's woeful helpdesk service that seems to fail in basic English skills, I am told I can purchase post booking baggage at a rate of $30/5kg! It takes 30mins of being on and off hold for the operator to finally agree with the advertised rates from thier own web site and change the booking.
