It's a nice weather on that Monday, me n my gago friend checking in for our first flight in our life, the check in staff are hot!! Like Tom yam, they keep on smiling even they have no teeth, so while waiting for our turn to check in, a guy approaching us and asking where we want to fly?? I say...to republic of kiasu, so he started to yelled at us and say we are insulting his country..I'm so shocked with his reaction..then decided to speak to his superior which I can see playing his Kinect near the toilet.. He then ask us to call the reservation to file a complain so we rang them....was waiting on the phone for just 20 secs....not a bad customer service yeah! Then this girl answering the phone listening to our complain attentively...and she promised to lead this issue to her cr dept, and I take her word...yea..then before she end her conversation, she ask me am I going to kiasu island for holiday or buisness?? I say Holiday..she say great!!!! Because as a Jetstar customer, I'm entitle for a good in car hire! I say yea....why not....so I take the deal which is pick up in kl and drop off in kiasu island...So it's quite cheap..then we agreed, then after the call...it's time for us to check in again, but....the counter closed...we started to argue with the staff..then I remembered that I had a car booked under my name just now...why not I just..drive to there...it's not far anyway..rather then fly with Jetstar! Why not I just drive to singapore!!!! Morale of the story...never fly Jetstar to kiasu island, I will drive to singapore!!!

In a nutshell, he had made a joke about Singaporeans when he was checking in on his flight, and apparently the staff got angry or something. So he called the call center which directed him to Customer Care but also got him a rental car. Then when he tried to check in for his flight again, they told him it was closed. So he said he rather use that rental car and drive to Singapore instead of flying Jetstar.

Really funny story btw.

Jetstar call center does not offer rental cars at either Singapore or Malaysia
