jetstar aircraft fly defective in non airworthy cond

this is a warning to all that fly deathstar (jetstar) to be aware that although you might be boarding a nice new a320/a330 just be aware that due to being a budget airline that these aircraft are not always safe to fly and do so with some vital systems brocken
this could be something from a simple light globe right through to the aircrafts fms (flight manegment system)
these slippery little suckers are quite a handfull to handle in the best of conditions and is downright deadly if its busy or bad weather

here are a few ezxamples from actual jetstar flights reporting them back to operations

I was under the impression that all Jetstar aircraft were Qantas hand-me-downs.
Do you know if this is correct? (you seem like you might have some inside information)

the original jq 717 fleet

the original jq 717 fleet were new ex impulse then ex qantas they were replced with the new current fleet of A320 for domestic
and the A330 for the international runs because thats the aircraft the asian market prefers
but they get minimal maintanance and when certain hourly tasks are often granted time extensions like every 100hrs of flying time an aircraft does it has to be pulled into a hanger and they give it a good service like your car has a servie book from new but to save money they get speacil permission from the govt (casa) to delay the service and squeeze more flights in

Michael, get your facts right

Michael, get your facts right before you post this BS.

NO aircraft will depart with a faulty FMC, the work load for the flight crew would be too high.

Aircraft develop faults all the time. We will notify Ops via DATALINK (which is where you have gotten your messages from) of issues that may have arised that need to be looked at on arrival. there are many faults that are by both Federal law and allowed by Airbus that will still allow the aircraft to fly safely.

sorry A321 driver as a lame
