Jetstar: Why did you cancel our flight!? Why are you so mean!? To a family too!

Well it was the end of november in 2010, and my husband, 3 kids and I were in a hotel for the night, so we wouldn't be late for our flight, the next morning. We stay there for the night and then, wake up the next morning; mum phones. She say jetstar are delaying the flight for tomorrow. We look at the TV, there has been a problem with a jetstar, saying the staff were on strike, in sydney, where we had to go to to get to our destination, honolulu. I'm thinking OMG! Then my husband phones up to see if the flight is really delayed. Yes, sir it is. It was an asian man (no offense to asians) that i couldn't understand. Did I mention we were moving countries! We were moving to Canada. Then, my mum phones back up yelling at me saying " YOU CANCELLED YOUR FLIGHT!" It was my flight, although my mum and sister were coming to Honolulu, our holiday destination before moving, she had booked a different flight with jetstar. I handed the phone straight over to my husband. There talking. My husband was laughing saying no, but then he got serious, and said he would phone them back up. He phoned them. Gets through a little bit and I get on the phone and get angry with this indian girl who had no idea what she was doing. I phone the flight centre and they had an email saying your flight was cancelled at some time at 7:00 am in the morning. My son told me the truth ( as he always has) saying they were not up at that time, in fact, my son was up at that time, before him! And of course, it was my husbands dream to go to Canada and move there. We are stuck in this hotel for two days, finally booking a flight with QANTAS. But as for you jetstar, shame on you! Jetstar did a heap of other things, and i got angrier and angrier and my 3 children were crying! I felt like swearing at them, but i did not!

Finally on the flight, i think "thats a relief".

We arrive in Hawaii, my sister says it was a horrible flight. There was turbulence, people chuking everywhere! And this wacko guy next to her who drunk 12 beers whom i was supposed to be sitting next to! She also tells me a flight attendant pulled a guy out of the toilet during turbulence, it wasn't turbulence actually, A almost done crash! I think OMG again, and we are all thankful that we were not on that flight, my husband the most. He is actually afraid of planes and being in the air.

Now we live in Canada, living happier than ever before and jetstar, shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
