mis-charge on airfare

I booked a flight from Singapore to Kuluar Lumper on 10th Oct 2010. However, after I keyed in all my credit card info, the system shows a erro message on booking, so I tried again, then it shows the same errow message. I guess the system is not working on that day, so I do the booking 11th Oct again and it went through.

When I received the credit card bill end of October, it shows 5 transactions from Jetstar. the 4 transactions shows that the system charged to my card even thought they gave me the erro message ( mischarge transactions :CCOOWX $161.85,E6KCMM $266.85, R3EJMY $161.85,U42D8V $236.85). I picked up the phone and call the call center. It tooked me a long time to find a lady to help me and it took me half day to fax through my credit card statement to Jetstar. After the fax went through, I called back to make sure that jetstar received my statement and they told me they will process the refund soon.

This month, I found the refund is till not reflected on my statement, so I called back again, one lady told me the request was on 5th Nov, and they forwarded to Finance Dept. on 9th, and it will take 15 working day to process the deal, so they will not refund the money till 9th Dec. which means, after they send to credit card company on 9th Dec, I will only be able to see the refund till January 2011 statement.

One thing I cannot understand is that why it takes so long to process the refund, usally mischarge will reflect on the next month for most of companies. Jetstar take few months. This was not even my fault at the first place, it was Jetstar system fault and Jetstar let consumer bear the consequence ?

I really want to urge the CEO to take a look of this process, it should never be consumer to bear this kind of conquence at all. It is not a big issue that CEO need to take care immediately , but in the long time it affects Jetstar reputaion. No one will dare to use jetstar online system to book tickets, because it will esealiiy mis-charged the consumers. Some part of me start to wonder, if Jetstar is using system erro to supplement it's cash flow ?

I hope it is not, But please prove it to me and the consumers.

I'm in the same predicament. Jetstar charged me twice for the same booking. Coming to two months and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. This is daylight robbery!!!

I just booked 4 pax tickets

I just booked 4 pax tickets but Jetstar did not issue me any confirmation and booking reference number. I called their hotline but waited and waited to no Avail. My email is hanke_80@hotmail.com and I am still waiting for their reply... Does this mean that my money will be gone with no air tickets???? Does anyone have email to Jetstat.com???
