Non Existant Customer Card Centre

I applied for a Platinum Card which entitled me to a $200 credit to be used on a Jetstar flight. The cost of administration charges to set up the new card was $159. The credit of $200 is required to be used within 3 months after notification. Prior to expiration date I tried to use credit and they said it was void. I made several calls to try and resolve the issue but they referred me to an online customer care centre. The conditions of that call centre state that they will respond within 14 working days. After the time elapsed I called Jetstar to try to speak to a person direct in the Call Centre but they can only contact them online themselves. I have done this twice and still Jetstar have not responded which makes me think that eithor they are understaffed or it is a deliberate action by them. Since this time I have flown to Cairns and deliberately flew Virgin and also recommended my friends to fly with them as well. So far we have denied Jetstar more than $2,000 in fares. Failure of a company to honour its commitments should not be rewarded.

Yes you need to redeem it

Yes you need to redeem it within the 3 month period, but travel within 6 months from the issue date. Did you read the "About Our Card" section on the Jetstar Mastercard site? It says:
"You must book your Jetstar Flight Voucher within 3 months , and travel within 6 months from the date your voucher is issued."
If you are trying to book a date beyond that 6 month period, that would be why its not working.
