Passport stolen, lost baggage and credit card fraud..

Has anybody experienced attempted stolen passport by baggage handlers? This happened Tuesday 14/6/2011 at Honolulu airport and the guy behind the jetstar desk was in on it too. We had to call the police and 45 minutes later it appeared in thin air when we threatened that we wanted to see the security camera footage. On top of that we were told we were 30 kg over the baggage allowance and had to pay $20 a kg. We disputed this as they lost our baggage on the way to hawaii. We ended up paying for 20kg which was $400 but couldnt believe that we were that much over. Anyway cut a long story short when we got off in sydney and were put on a qantas flight due to the backlog from the volcanic ash in melbourne qantus weighed our luggage and we were only 1 kg over! We just got off the phone to diners club to report this fraud to be told that jetstar America put another 2 transactions through 24 hours later when we had already arrived in australia. One was for $1200 the other $360 and when we looked at our actual receipt it was an inproper receipt they gave us but with the drama of attempting to steal my 15 month old daughters passport we were too traumatised to notice. Please let me know if anybody has experienced this.

I did read your story and if

I did read your story and if you have all the necessary paperwork you should have a case for pursuing them legally. All you need to do to back up the claims of corruption is to summarise the stories on this site. Wondering where the responses from jetstar to this site are being posted too? I think we should all be calling them 'getfar?'

yes we went to the police

yes we went to the police today ...we have all Diners club statements, and they confirmed that Jet Star tried to put these transactiond through when we were back home......The manager in Hawaii is involved I am convinced, just warning all other passengers so this does not happen to them.
