I went to the doemstic airport just to find out where i should be checking in with my luggages because i will be checking in online.. and the lady standing there to help people just said.. here on this line and it was like she didnt care or even smile.. it was like as if only wanted to say here and thats it and move on.

She looked young another typical blondy by all means.. standing next to the line and i went to her about where to check in. It totaly blow my mind out knowing she was alittle rude or that she didn't careless.
I can't believe a jetstar worker was not that nice friendly help. She did help but only saying here your infront of it.. and then she look els where to help someone with the luggages and didnt said to me anything els i can help with...

Not sure what world you all live in but just about every company has employees like described above. I've been treated rudely by Qantas check in staff on far more occasions than I have by Jetstar. ie. Check in staff not making eye contact and too busy discussing with colleagues who will get a promotion, cabin crew in business class calling everyone sir/ma'am except me because I was 24 at the time, cabin crew giving a rude sigh when I asked for ice and they were out of ice and saying "do you really need ice?"...
So get over it idiots. Call up a phone company, or go to a public transport ticket office or info booth and tell me you haven't had poor experiences. The majority of Jetstar crew/check in staff are friendly. I've never had an issue, but then again I'm not a whinger like you all.

I too had similar problems like the one obove. Like he or she have indicated when he or she arrived at the jetstar airport area he/she ask one of the jetstar staff who was standing there to guide people willing to check in. that person ask were to (echkin the quickest way) for these who allready check-in online but same time still carring on luggages. seriously the staff wasnt helpful to this person obove.
I mean i don't no either the person obove has a odd looks or was something about it but i know exactly how she/he felt i too have that problem with staffs. Im still in my 20s and i may look young but it is very rude and horrible wrong for a idiot jetstar staff standing there and not smileing. Infact i came a cross to one like this and she did not smile at all.. she was like a useless careless person..

I rather have much older and mature females working with jetstar specialy someone in thier 60s because i know for sure people at this age would be manners and well respect against all patrons passangers and wanting to know some information.
Know days todays age of young people working for jetstar is beyond a joke seriously. Its like in the 80s we had older people working at madonalds restaurant. Today we have kids working at the back kitchen where they cant even make a proper burger.

I feel so sorry for the airport staff and cabin crew who people such as you inflict yourselves upon.
As for the wheelchair incident, again people will believe what the want to believe. In actual fact normal sized wheelchairs can not fit in the cabin, they need to be checked in. He refused one of the airline wheelchairs that do fit in the aisle of the plane, and decided to crawl - and then makes a complaint about it. Yet another example of the trash that staff have to put up with.

First everything went smooth
First everything went smooth and normal. Though my kid wanted to go to the loo but was unable to unbuckle the belts because he was wanting to go to the loo but was unable to do anything. He cry up loud and most of the people around us where trying to calm me down due to the fact i was fearus about whatwas going on about not able to stand up and take my kid to the loo.
But it wasnt that bad otherwise i would had been introuble by the dodgy jetstar staff on board. So what i did was wait alittle more minutes quickly take my son to the loo but was afraid my other child be alone who ever be around trying to do harm to my kid.
This may sound horrible but it is true. The reason i say this is because one family who went to the loo on baord left his kids unattendant seating on thier seats one passanger tried to slip through the females bag to get the wallet or anything money. This was on the news though it was a few years ago i believe in the 90s but overses. This can happen to anyone.
Though i wonder who is that person seating alone right on the far corner of the plane. The secret marchals ?
I dont think jetstar has the appilitie to make everything safe. I mean suppose who ever was that alone men seating up on the far end was more then likely one of these passangers secret marchals to protect the passangers if any threat correct ?

I have tried but so far I have not yet identified which gutter Jetstar get their people from. But when i find it I know it will be deep and rotten.

1. Qantas has rude people. Thats true - and it would it surprise you to know that Jetstar is owned by Qantas?
2. In every company where rude workers work - youd think that when a complaint is made; the business would make movements to change and perfect the issue hey?
3. As a consumer you have the right to complain about the service an airline has given you.
You would undertstand that as a employee you represent the busniess. Its like a wall of bricks - if one brick fails the whole wall cant grow and succeed. So never doubt the bad service of one employee. It can really ruin the whole reputation of a business as a whole.
4. I have flown 3 times with jetstar. In all three occations the people who work at jetstar always gave me terrible and rude service. Therefore that leads me to think that Jetstar staff are ill-trained and therefore the company fails to meet standards.
