3 staff checking in 4 staff in line moving people whose flights were about to close,
1 hour delay on tarmac - not sure how many people on plane
low on food,
staff can't speak English
1 hour delay leaving Darwin
Comming home - on time out of Denpasar - YE-HAR
arrive in Darwin
40 minute delay getting baggage - not enough staff
scheduled 3 hours in terinal to catch flight at 6:10. 5:50 announcemnet that flight delayed till 4:30 that afternoon
Staff know nothing
1 bag missing
Airport Manager has to communicate with pissed off passengers as Jetstar manager not communicating
veiled offer to 40 of around 120 passenegers to pay for meals and "overnight" costs.
furhter 1 hour delay on departure
staff member actually asks me "...how I am..."

no airbribge on arrival in Brisbane.

baggage delays, talk to jetstar head office, and Menzies Aviation Services, jetstar pay ramp service companies for 6 ramp staff per aircraft on the ground, yet we work in crews of 6, when theres 4 aircraft on the ground at once and we are trying to load, unload, service lavatory and water, pushback, plus do paperwork and containers with only 6 blokes and we are supposed to have (according to jetstar) 24 (6 per aircraft x 4 aircraft) then sadly there are going to be delays......
they kept changing your
they kept changing your flight schedule even hours before you fly.you will not be able to arrive on your destination on time..if you will be attending a meeting or have a work to do on that day, dont ever fly with jetstar.give yourself a week probably.
they will try to change one part of your journey, like if you have a connecting flights, and therefore you will miss your next flight, and God only knows how many hours /days you have to be in that airport before you can fly for your next flight.
They are not monitoring their bookings; they are just accepting your payment and goodluck to you if you will be able to arrive to your destination on time.you will be spending heaps more when you fly with them plus the headache

Incorrect - if you read and agree to the conditions of carriage, and can (if necessary) be a little bit flexible with your flight time, then you can save alot of money flying with Jetstar. I would however not recommend flying wherever possible with 2 separate carriers on connecting flights. It is a bad idea as no carrier will accept responsibility for another airlines delay.

Sorry Anonymous2- Jetstar savings are a false economy - if they cancel you have to buy a last minute expensive ticket with another airline, and possibly lose your hotel booking/payment.. and probably miss that meeting or lose half a day or more on your holiday (most people get 20 per year - why waste one on Jetstar) ... unreliable is unreliable- better to spend $20, $50 or $200 extra on a reliable service and get what you pay for. Airport meals aren't cheap.. even a 2 hour delay can cost you that $20 you saved on a domestic flight. Don't Fly Jetstar and you have a better chance of enjoying that flight.
