I wrote about my incident with Jet Star on the 7/11/2010 (What happens when they cancel your flight) and as yet the promised refund has not materialised and I am sure it never will. I am not so worried about that because I will never fly with this Jet Star again. What incenses me is some of the pathetic attempts by Jet Star employees to slur our stories and insinuate that we are in the wrong. Not all air fares are cheap or on sale and not all passengers expect anything remotely resembling special service. “WHAT THEY EXPECT IS WHAT JETSTAR PROMISED”.
But as a carrier if you promote yourself as a budget airline providing a service you have to ACTUALLY provide that service no matter what price the consumer has paid for the ticket that you offered up.
So to all the anonymous and assumed named people offering up defence for this carrier either put up your real names and locations or don't post at all. Gutless, Worthless and Nameless comments are exactly that Worthless. You can keep my money but as for me holding back my views on your worthless airline that will never end.
I am happy to meet any Jet Star Executive in my office to discuss the obvious service failings of your airline.
You make me feel ashamed to be Australian.

NOW IF YOU ONLY TOOK TIME TO
NOW IF YOU ONLY TOOK TIME TO READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS............. BUT IT’S TO DIFFICULT FOR YOUR PUNY MIND TO COMPREHEND

Yosuke I offer you the opportunity to come and speak to me personally and explain your reasoning. As a business man that travels over 80,000 miles a year on Singapore airlines without any issues I would suggest your brainless and gutless comments lack any real thought. Hiding behind your computer is an easy way to defend your position. Where does it say in your terms and conditions that you won't refund after you have send an email accepting responsibility and saying you will.

"To the extent permitted by law"
"Regardless of whether a consumer has clicked ‘I agree’ to a seemingly endless list of terms and conditions, certain rights cannot be excluded. For example, a vendor must ensure representations made on a website under its control are accurate, and goods must be fit for saleand fit for their purpose."
"The Trade Practices Act implies certain promises into all consumer contracts. These statutory warranties and statutory conditions are referred to as implied warranties or statutory rights. They include the right to refund if goods are defective.
When a consumer buys goods or services a statutory warranty is implied regardless of cost, country of origin or manufacturer. Statutory warranties cannot be overwritten or signed away. They give the consumer basic rights:
» that the goods are fi t to be sold
» that the item is fi t for the purpose it is intended for
» that the item matches the description or sample given
» that services are carried out with due skill and care."
"Retailers are not allowed to:
» refuse to refund the full price of defective goods
» make a false or misleading representation about a consumer’s right to a refund
» refuse to provide a refund for goods just because consumers don’t have a receipt, provided they have other satisfactory proof of purchase
» limit the time in which a consumer can make a claim, within reason."
Thought I'd add that.

I just think that if your going to write post get the facts right. Now Jetstar is not worthless in fact their worth billions of dollars. And you know why? Because every day 1000 flights take off full of satisfied guests who would gladly use Jetstar again.
I know you probably didn't mean it but just double check next time that all you facts and figures are correct.
I am sure amused is right
I am sure amused is right many fly every day without a problem thats the way it should be. the issue is that at time when JS has problems they treat customers with contempt. this has to stop and aussie consumers will not get what they paid for until the comllain to the relevant authoroties every time JS screws them up or squibbs on them. thats the issue. whil i am at it what is the "fail to go" pax loading for a JS 320 or 321 that has 177 seats. at what point to the cancel it if the loading is not enough..otherwise knows as cancelled for operation reasons.. i have heard that it is as high as 85 if not more than 85 they will not take the sector.
Andrew Browne please writhe
