well.. i don't think the staff will tell the passengers what type of engineering fault it is, it would only cause mayhem and panic.. they will just calmly give some scripted reasons... As for subsequent flights that are cancelled due to the "engineering fault", it must meant that the "engineering fault" is serious enough to warrant a cancellation of so many flights..
ya know.. i would rather be angry for a long while over a ruined saturday night, than unable to be angry for the rest of my life..
