voucher? refund? yeah right!

I was due to fly Wgtn/chch on 3 March, as the govt was still saying no unnecessary travel to chch I called JS customer service on 2 March to arrange the offered travel voucher. My 5 other friends booked on the same flight as I was did too.

NONE of us received the vouchers they said we would.

I called today to use my unissued voucher to book another flight, BUT was told that I would have to wait 5-7 days to get a voucher processed. When I said no, I need to use it before that, and it should have been issued on 2 March, they put me on hold for 17minutes. They came back with we can issue it in 3 days BUT would not hold the fares or flights that I needed. I asked to speak to the supervisor, put on hold for 15mins, told that no one was available but he would try agan - 18mins later he picked up and hung up the phone.

I called back, and asked to speak to a supervisor, when she said all she could do was send a message to their customer service centre and they would get back to me in 5-7 working days WTF did you not hear me!!

In the past I have had fantastic service from JS, they saved my stranded family when it was our fault (got lost in rental car and missed our flights) and they have always been great - but now I am just pissed off!!

I once got a $10 food voucher

I once got a $10 food voucher (wow) because the flight was overbooked. When I went to use it (the next day) I couldn't because it had expired. Wonderful, Jetstar, wonderful.
