Okay where should i start?
Flight. Melb - Gold coast..
Get a TXT at 5:30am saying, my flight has been cancelled.. I call the airline, and get on a flight 1 hour later not a problem.
Weather in Gold Coast area is shocking, Flight is delayed 30mins.
We make our way to QLD, as weather is bad, we cannot land in QLD and spend 1 hour circling the air.
We are told were going to brisbane, from watching the news etc, the weather doesnt look any better there..
We made 3 bloody attempts to land, not 1 attempt we actually dropped 300metres on the descend. and the pilot was on the PA.. and all we hear was him saying "AHHH SHIT". Which we ACTUALLY hit the tarmac.
The service was terrible, we were giving no reports during flight what was happening just alot of trubalance, and dropping 300metres etc at a time with a plane of screaming people
What was pissing me off more, that jetstar knew it was not safe to travel into QLD (with knowledge from people on earlier flights) they actually had trouble landing..
My seat didnt have vomit bags,
When we got off the plane from brisbane, we were made to walk 500metres in the wet to the gate..
We were not confronted with ANY jetstar coustomer support, just a 1 hour wait for a bus. which didnt have a toliet.
The problems do not stop here, Our transfers called to see what was happening, and jetstar said our plane had landed in QLD 2 hours ago, but for infact we were still flying.
To top things off on our way home, we had to wait 1 hour from the time we landed for the lagguage to get to us.
I will never use this airline ever again, and will not recommend it to anyone. this is a disgrace

I can relate to this comment entirely. It is practically a carbon copy of my experience the other weekend. I fly a lot (never Jetstar) all over the world and have for many years. But my flight from Sydney to Gold Coast left me feeling the most frightened. In fact I have never been so scared on a plane like this ever. They attempted to land but aborted just before we hit the runway. There were no updates...the only thing I could hear was people screaming. They did put over an announcement - the pilot just said we might have to land in Brisbane. We landed finally with people clapping and cheering. Then we all got saturated when we got off the plane. At least on other airlines they hand out umbrellas to use until we get to the gate. Not Jetstar. Indeed they are a total disgrace. I didn't feel safe on this airline and will never ever tempt fate again.

3. We make our way to QLD, as weather is bad, we cannot land in QLD and spend 1 hour circling the air. = dam those pilots trying to make a safe landing.
4. We are told were going to Brisbane, from watching the news etc, the weather doesn't look any better there.. = but hey the news knows everything so we should believe them over air traffic.

And the people on the earlier flights know the weather in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold coast at the same time. I wanna be just like them.

9. When we got off the plane from brisbane, we were made to walk 500metres in the wet to the gate.. = far out 500 meters ! your legs must have been nearly falling off.
10. We were not confronted with ANY jetstar coustomer support, = your travelling on a budget airline.. they probably dont have the funds to employ people to wait for you to say sorry. or maybe they were trying to organise your bus
11. just a 1 hour wait for a bus. = i wish for a bus to drop from the sky along with my plane becuase bus companies have nothing better to be doing then waiting to take Jetstar passengers to another city.
12. which didnt have a toliet. = ever heard of going to the toilet before you leave.. isnt it something your parents say when your 5.
13. To top things off on our way home, we had to wait 1 hour from the time we landed for the lagguage to get to us. = dam those brisbane staff they should have know that your flight was going to be diverted due to bad weather and have ample staff to handle the extra baggage.
14. I will never use this airline ever again, and will not recommend it to anyone. this is a disgrace = your spelling and grammer is a discgrase. And the airline probably doesnt want you as your so perfect
If you want umbrella's and a bus with a toilet fly a premium airline. And by the sounds of your complaint.. if Jetstar had of cancelled the flight you would have been compaining too.
All this because Jetstar now controls the weather. Maybe just maybe the QLD floods are their fault too.
