Video: Jetstar fixing window with gaffer tape

I always though a plane was quite a technical piece of equipment and that it would take years of study to learn how work on and maintain one, but it seems I was wrong.
This video posted on youtube seems to suggest that any good DIYer could make it as an aircraft maintenance worker, as long as he had some tape in his toolbox.
Watch below as maintenance is carried out on a Jetstar plane with a piece of tape.

This is standard practice in aircraft maintenance and is not a Jetstar only 'quick fix.' That isn't any ordinary tape.

I agreee with the first comment, this is standard practice and the tape is metallic and highly rated for aircraft. Even though I don't like Jetstar the guy that filmed this has no idea basically.
