Despite insisting to Never fly with NoStar ever again after a series of cancelled flights, 11 hour waits stranded at airports and paying for seat allocations and not getting them and also no refunds. Jetstar have THE RUDEST staff & worst customer service ever!

Our first impression of Jetstar staff was checking-in in Adelaide where we were met by the GRUMPIEST check-in chick who said the BARE MINIMUM to us and I sware her face would have CRACKED if she smiled! Our flight was then delayed 45 minutes. So not the best first impression of Jetstar, not completely awful, but not great... We thought 'Ok maybe she's having a bad day' until we checked in for our return flight:

On check-in to our return flight from Sydney to Adelaide we walked through the lanes and the woman standing at the gates said "make sure you remove those tags" .... No please...

BAGGAGE SERVICES - Complaint letter

It is unfortunate that I have to write this email, but I have been left with no other option given the appalling treatment we received from Jetstar/Skycare in respect of our baggage. In short, because of stuff-ups one after another by Jetstar/Skycare, we have been without our bags for FIVE days now - that is, 1/3 of our short holiday in New Zealand.

I booked a return flight to Melbourne with Jetstar in September 2012 for flight in March 2013. The purpose of the flight was to catch a connecting Jetstar flight to Bangkok. My flight from Brisbane was for 8:45Am. booked a flight from darwin to launceston paid money all good. got the standard email FLIGHT CHANGED lost a day of my holiday.Then i needed to change dates no problem $70 plus new fare difference for the two of us a total of $400 dollars. how much to cancel flights ALL OF IT No REFUND I shall now fly virgin, the only choice i have we don't get a great choice in the top end asked the woman i talked to if she received a lot of calls like mine.

Absolutely USELESS Credit Card Verification Rule

I have booked several tickets for myself and my girlfriend on several airlines and sectors. This once, we booked her on Jetstar (how I wish I knew of this site before booking it!). At some point we learned that the credit card used to book the ticket (mine, and I live in Singapore) needs to be verified at the point of her checking in (in Manila). In such cases, its usual for an airline to ask for a copy of the card / the holder's identity card / an authorization letter, etc. and we've done this on multiple occasions. But NO -- Jetstar needs me to go to the check in counter at the Singapore...

Open Letter to Jetstar - Removed

Having vented and made my point sufficiently here, I have decided to take this story down rather than leave it festering in the open. There is no point in leaving a story in the public forum when it is no longer relevant. It is indeed a shame that I had to go public with this to draw some attention to the situation. I have reliable evidence that the story has been duly noted by Jetstar Australia and I can only hope they take heed and introduce remedies.

Ideas on how to boycott Jetstar & spread the word... lets take these guys down!

So I have had many bad experiences, my final one: $198 to get 1x 13kg bag to NZ and back! and even when i didn't use it on the way back they were unwilling to refund what I paid for it

I suggest everyone on this site does a mass boycott & propaganda campaign!! its time for the customers to take action! with all the people using this site & the 1700 facebook fans, combined i'm sure we could do some serious damage to this sad excuse for an airline.

100% Reschedule rate

Of all the trips I have made with Jetstar I have had my flight details changed EVERY time.

It makes a mockery of the email they send out:
"While we try to avoid any changes to our timetable, in this instance it was unavoidable."

On one instance, when booking my flight originally I had the choice of a 6am or 8am flight. The 8am was more expensive but also more convenient and so I chose that one. I was then rescheduled to the 6am flight, without any compensation or refund.

The 6am flight was then delayed until 8am. Oh, and my luggage was put on a 12pm flight.

SHAMBOLIC CHECK IN

Approximately fifty passengers were queued up, with only two slow check-ins working.

then the queue became farcical when they started processing pax from middle of queue.

Lost Luggage

On 23 November 2012 my partner and I checked into our flight from Sydney to Manila for the start of a 3 week holiday in the Philippines. As the flight was via Darwin we had to collect our bags and re-check in for the second leg of our journey. However my checked in luggage didn’t make it as far as Darwin let alone Manila. Jetstar eventually located my bag but were unable to reunite me with it for the duration of our holiday. Agents not knowing how to sell the real deal

I flew my kids and I to New Zealand last year and we basically went hungry on the flight to Coolangata. I did not know how the meals system worked and the agent did not tell me.

The phone sales person also told me that it was okay that my toddler was turning 2 during the vacation (i.e. he would still have the same rate and seating) but at Coolangata on the return the staff tried to make me pay the extra fare.

Obviously it was my first time with Jetstar and despite these kinds of communication issues, to tell the truth I was pretty happy with the rest of it.

Fee for a simple name change is RIDICULOUS!

I booked a trip to Thailand with a friend & I can no longer go because of work commitments. I was originally told that a name change would cost me a fee of $90. Nobody mentioned anything about having to pay the fare difference. Now I'm being told that to change the name on the flight it will cost $1100!!!! Why don't they inform people of these fees BEFORE they book the flights? The trip is next week, how do they expect anybody to be able to fork out an extra $1100? Seriously? I CAN'T go on the trip, what do they expect me to do? Jetstar are the WORST. DO NOT bother to fly with them....

We have flown the notorious Manila - Darwin flight 3 times and every time we have been delayed for a MINIMUM 18 hours each time..... Bad customer Service and No English

My family purchased 5 round trip tckets from Ho Chi Minh to Danang. we were told our return flight was at 8pm. When we ariived at the airport for our return flight it were told it was at 8am. OMG. My Jetstar epiphany

Dear potential Jetstar Customers

For business reasons I have to fly from Auckland to Christchurch twice a month. Depending on available flights and airfares I fly with either Air New Zealand or Jetstar. However, I have become increasingly annoyed at Jetstar’s hidden costs. Do They Exist

We booked flights online but then got emails to say that the flight time had changed to an earlier time that is too early for our connecting flight. The email asks me to confirm the change and gives another link if this is not acceptable. This link comes up with the message "Address not valid" nor do any of their customer service addresses on their website work, even the one asking for feedback on their website (what a surprise!). They also keep sending texts which are impossible to reply to. None of the emails supplied by Chris Brown work either.

Yes I too flew jetstar in December 2012 and will never fly with them again! I booked my tickets 3 or 4 months prior to flying an chose them with the return flight time because it was my baby's bed time (would have made life easier) but they cancelled to a really early flight. That was ok I thought stuff happens. Then when we were at the airport we got told the plane was delaid due to paperwork. Only they lied! Jetstar Blows Chunks - the worst airline ever

All so familiar. I am one of 4 in a group who was supposed to fly out from Sydney to Denpasar Bali on 4th January 2013. we sat on the plane for 3 hours while staff kept saying we will be getting underway soon. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

Anyone with a LEGITIMATE claim against Jetstar eg: NOT you were late!! Eg: you paid for a service which was cancelled and you were not notified and have done everything the right way to get your money back but Jetstar has just absorbed it and given you the longest possible run around and you are still not in possession of your money.... Please get in contact with my via Facebook private message as I am interested in pursuing a class action law suit against them.... But only if you've got all the paperwork for doing the right thing from your end without slander etc...

Lost baggage

I travelled on JQ 542 from Adelaide to Gold Coast on 14th November 2012 and Jetstar lost my bag. I was at the beginning of the carousel when it started up and my bag just never came off and there was no bag left going around, so it was evident that no-one had taken mine by accident.
