Computer Says No

BEWARE: If you go online to book with Jetstar and it doesn't look like the booking has gone through - DO NOT TRY AGAIN because they debit your card and make it look like your booking didn't go through. Then if you keep trying to book, you will find the charges on your credit card. This has been going on for a long time. When you ask for a refund, they give you the run around. They don't like giving out email addresses to complain....just a post office box. I mean, in today's day and age...why would we be typing up letters and sending them in the mail? I tell you why, because it's a delay...

mis-charge on airfare

I booked a flight from Singapore to Kuluar Lumper on 10th Oct 2010. However, after I keyed in all my credit card info, the system shows a erro message on booking, so I tried again, then it shows the same errow message. I guess the system is not working on that day, so I do the booking 11th Oct again and it went through.

When I received the credit card bill end of October, it shows 5 transactions from Jetstar. the 4 transactions shows that the system charged to my card even thought they gave me the erro message ( mischarge transactions :CCOOWX $161.85,E6KCMM $266.85, R3EJMY $161.85...

Never Again. It cost us heaps

We have only had bad experiences with Jetstar. Last May flying for the first time with them from Singapore to Cambodia, they re-scheduled the flight time so we had to reschedule the connecting flight costing us $500, and losing a day of our holiday. Vowing we wouldn't fly with them again, unfortunately we did, the same route this coming Xmas. Once again they have changed the flight time leaving us with 18hr wait instead of what should have beed 5hrs. 30 hour delay

On arrival at the airport at check in we were offered vouchers and told that there is a two hour delay and we wouldn’t be flying until around 19:15. When we went to check the boarding gate it said that there was another two hour delay, making our flight four hours late at this stage. To all the anonymous people who add comments (AKA: Jet Star Employees). We have the decency to add our real names and details to our posts because our complaints are real and justified so why don't you grow some balls and add yours. While you are at it I am still waiting for your pathetic company to contact me and refund my money after you cancelled my flight and left me stranded.
You are a sad inditment on a poorly run business...

Charge fluctuations

I dunno if anyone else has seen this but the assholes keep changing the price of the flights after multiple bookings. I'm trying to book this flight on two different credit cards - the second flight went up $60 after I booked the first one 3 minutes ago. WTF. Who is supposed to be regulating these pricks? They're not doing their job. Is there some sort of way the Jetstar website algorythim hikes up prices when a particular flight appears to be booking out quickly?

Arrived at airport and when we tried to check in flight it had been cancelled. We were not given reason why. JETSTAR SUCKS!

This is the best website in existence. EVER! Me being idiot thought id give jetstar a chance by flying with them yesterday.. how very wrong was I. Not only did they change the gate number, not once, not twice, but 4 times without telling us, when we arrived at the gate that was last on the departure board we find out the flight was cancelled the previous night. Worst (domestic) flight ever!

I'm so happy I found this website!!! I had a horrible experience with Jetstar. I took over a friend's tickets to Christchurch to see my quake-stricken family and upon returning to Wellington (a 40 MINUTE FLIGHT) I found out the flight was delayed over 7 hours! The reason given was 'crew sickness' (why they couldn't organise a replacement is beyond me), we were totally ignored, no one talked to us, so we were left to wait an entire day at the stupid airport. Delays and no food; even when you have to pay for it.!!!

Travelled from Melbourne to Christchurch on the 14th October 2010. We sat at the gatelounge for 1 hour while passengers delayed because there were too few check-in staff, were loaded. Then after take-off we told to choose our food from the list in the seat pocket. When the cart came down to us we were told that no food had been loaded. Not only are they stupid but they do not even want to make a profit from food sales.!!. Who is behind this outfit other qantas????.

I have a similar story to tell as all of you. I had my flight cancelled, and promises about accomadation paid for and expenses being reclaimable all be broken. I have no had over 5 seperate conversations with customer service where I have been told someone senior would call me. Never recieved a call. I am still around $600 out of pocket because of Jetstar.

What Happens when they Cancell your flight

I was due to fly out of Jakarta for Singapore on their 22:00 service but earlier in the day they advised due to volcano activity the flight had been cancelled... To their credit they sent me an SMS stating the issue and giving me a number to call for recovery to Singapore. I thought OK safety issue, volcano no big deal i will fly tomorrow. Bad online booking services

I booked a ticket from Singapore to Vietnam with jetstar and was so confused. When it came to the step "Payment", i enter my mastercard number and then click to the "confirmation" step, it said that my card was declined, i need to use another payment method or another card, then i type again the same number of the same mastercard, the same problem happened. cancelled flight 29/10/10

flight cancelled 1 hour due to sick cabin crew, full plane going to melbourne for the cup . but we all got seats on a qantas flight ??
full flight in sept going to football grand final, flight cancelled due to cabin crew hurt themselves.
why arn't there cabin crew based in perth.
Makes you wonder that qantas can run a company like this or is that they can't fill the empty qantas planes going back to the east coast.??

Cancelled Flight Friday 29th November

Due to fly out at 5pm, notified 1 hour before incoming flight had sick hostie and they cancelled flight altogether, 200 passengers most going to Melbourne Cup, missed out or arrived 10 hours late, all for one sick hostie, why dont they have a standby. Lousy seats that dont recline and the fare was no cheaper than Qantas anyway, never never again.

Don't dare complain otherwise they will threaten to kick you off the plane!

Flight to Bali was fine, although we didn't get our paid seat upgrade the flight itself was ok.

The return flight JQ117 was a very different story
The plane was delayed by an hr which was a bit dissapointing but not the end of the world and the seats were awful, did not recline at all.

HKD $40 is what Jetstar is worth

I was supposed to take a flight out of HK to Singapore on the 31 Oct,1345hrs. After I had checked in, the airport staff mention there was a delay till 4.45pm. Ok, expected since i was paying that amount and i never received an sms that the flight was delayed. Was giving the mobile number only for show?

Once i reached the ariport, I had to rub my eyes several times before I saw it was delayed for 7 hours. No explanation whatsoever. Just delayed. Jetstar could have practically flown 2 time zones with the amount of waiting time.
