Staff refuse to help in Manila

My pregnant wife and son tried to fly out of Manila, but were refused boarding due to staff thinking that my son medical complaint. On going to their office to update the flight booking the staff REFUSED to do any thing, saying "call singapore, we don't have any system for making any changes to flights". A total lie, as we have made changes in the same office before. On questioning the staff refused to discuss any more and would not give their name or their supervisors name.

Managed to change the booking after multiple attempts and paying extra charges. At no time would anyone offer...

Broke my computer

I was sitting in row 1 ( emergency row ) where you cant put you laptop under the seat in front of you because there is none ! So I put my lap top in the overhead baggage above me a few rows back only for the flight attendant to have over it with out me knowing, and when I get home, my hole screen in smashed ! Goldcoast Tokyo ?????

The Gold Coast to Tokyo flight 2nd December???? We booked online and confirmed 8th October.... but SIX WEEKS after the booking confirmation and 5 days before departure Jetstar called and changed it to Goldcoast to Osaka.
We were advised to find our own way to Tokyo when we arrived at Osaka.

Despite our pleas for help,No offer to help find a flight.
How far is it from the Osaka International terminal to the domestic??,,,,how much time will it take to get thru customs??
Who is paying for the 2 extra fares??
What about the arangements I have made in Tokyo on...

Shitty Nappy in seat pocket

There was no safety card in the seat pocket, just a shitty nappy. Need I say more? Well, it stunk and the seat belt also didn't work properly, the seat was faulty and kept going back (not that they can go back far anyway) and the blow up head rest was worse than trying to blow up a balloon....

Safety concerns

Oops, I forgot to fasten my seat belt for take off after getting abuse by the nasty queen of a flight attendant didn't want to pick my bag up and put it in the overhead baggage compartment. I think his wrist was too limp. He reminded me of Leonard Mincing from the Catherine Tate show.
Anyway, he gave me a terrible time and after rattling off the safety speel for those of us in the first row, he didn't see my seat belt undone. I should have remembered, but he should have checked but he was so wrapped up in himself he was like a lamington dipped in coconut.

They simply don't care. The only way to beat them at their own game is to not fly with them. The only time this shambles of an airline will understand along with their arrogant and complacent CEO is to hit them where it hurts....in the pocket. Surely by reading the horrendous stories on this site will make people think twice about flying this apology for an airline. Jetstar, I hope you collapse and go broke. You're an international disgrace.

Pooh on the tray table and screeching wheels

Made a few domestic flights on Jetstar this week. Flying from Sydney - north I ordered an expensive beer and nuts. On folding down the tray I discovered a filthy mess and something that looked like a gekko or mouse pooh. Called the waitress over and she said that she wasn`t paid to clean trays. She reluctantly went to the back of the plane and came back with a few tissues to wipe off the offending item. To be fair I couldn`t identify it as being a poo or some small piece of chocolate as both tables were flithy from the preceding customers.

I wrote my blog a few weeks ago about being left stranded by Jetstar and like you all I am very dissatisfied with their "we don't care attitude"

Fly by price

I use Jetstar because of price alone. Booking online is a nightmare. The last three flights I have had to phone from overseas to Jetstar to get booking number and try to get confirmation of the bookings to be told they will send email immediately, which does not eventuate. There seating is becoming increasingly cramped, the staff are rude and inefficient. The flight I have just booked and again received no confirmation will be my last with this sad excuse for an airline, connected to Qantas. I will not fly again with either of them.

Jetstar's new TV ad

Remember the old Jetstar ad where the pilot says "We'll look after you". Not surprisingly they have dumped that ad and now their latest motto is "That's just the part of the story".......and we know it is not likely to be a pleasant one!

MisterJinxx - a perfect example of how corrupt Jetstar is

MisterJinxx's story is one worth reading. Don't think because you pre-book seats that they are guaranteed. Jetstar are notorious for canceling flights and (if you're lucky) shoving you on another. Indeed if you pay for seats up the front, they can bump you off and they simply don't care if you've pre-booked and paid for them. If say you booked a trip to Cairns for five nights, they can cancel your flight back and leave you waiting for a next available flight back so you could be on an extended holiday like it or not. FIRST IN - FIRST SERVED, they change flights on me and I get told "too bad"

Booked and paid for round trip to Singapore in APRIL 2010.
Paid premium for "up front" seating - chose seats in APRIL 2010 for departure and arrival legs of trip.
Get an email yesterday saying that the flight operator was being changed from Jetstar Australia to Jetstar SIngapore.
Flight itself wasnt changed nor flight times.
Email says "click to accept" to print out new ticket / itinarary - you have no option, but to accept.
I print new ticket/ itinarary to see that our seat allocations are missing, log in online to find the seats we reserved in APRIL 2010 are...

A Current Affair

COME ON ACA!!! You know Jetstar is a rotten airline. Why not do a story and show your viewers just what this airline is about! Instead of doing stories on the best soap powders and weight loss craze.....do a story on a shoddy airline that ticks everyone off. Jetstar is after all, Australia's most hated airline.

Jetstar is going to get someone killed

Flew in to Brisbane on a Thursday with Tiger. Flight went fine. Completed holiday on Sunday afternoon. Return flight to Melbourne was booked with Jetstar and was meant to depart at 7:40pm to arrive back in Melb at 11:40pm. Arrived at airport 2 hours early. Waited. Checked in. Arrived at the gate one hour early. 10 minutes before flight departure went up to staff at gate and was told flight would depart in 10 minutes. Stranded in Myanmar

I am deeply disappointed with Jetstar.
I booked my ticket for a roundtrip from Singapore to Yangon on 30/07 , I made the booking via the website, as I always do, and the credit card didn’t go thru, so I called the call centre, after waiting 20 minutes I was serviced by a girl that could barely speak English and that then subsequently booked me on the wrong dates. I had to call again and change my booking with again another person that could not speak proper English.
After that all of fine, I just thought it wasn’t worth it to complaint about it.

Extra Charges

I made the mistake of booking without the extra baggage so I rang them to correct my mistake but rather than being charged the extra $20 the site has it is an extra $80 for doing after. WHY?

My other complaint is, I need to return home early from Overseas as a family member was extremely ill. China Airlines were most accommodating and changed my flights no charges but I got the times wrong when I wrote them down. It meant a 10 hour wait at Sydney Airport. They would only change my $70 flight for $150 even though there were plenty of spare seats. While the while the staff sat there...

7000 people work for Jetstar and NOT ONE OF THEM CAN CALL ME BACK!!!

Jetstar cancelled my flight (by text message) at 11pm the night before flying. After reading this message first thing the next morning, I called the number they gave me to book a new flight. I was away from home so had to use my mobile. I was on hold for 55 minutes, costing me $40 for the call. When I called them a few days later to ask them to reimburse me for my call; I told them I wasn't complaining they cancelled my flight; I wasn't complaining a friend had to take half a day off work to pick me up earlier than booked; I wasn't complaining I had ultimately paid for an extra days...

LEFT HIGH AND DRY AGAIN!

This is the first and last time we are ever going to fly with Jetstar, or Jetass you might say.

We arrived from Cairns into Darwin with a connecting flight to Singapore. The flight departs at 1820 hrs and we board the aircraft at 1750 hrs.
